I made this a month ago, I use the 30 day maceration for all tinctures and oils. I put the photo of them.side by side to see the difference between tincture and oils.

Here is my submission for the Natural Medicine Aspect - Sand for Straw - Rosemary Tincture BB.
I harvested rosemary in Tacoma on September 15, 2021, removed the stems and added Everclear.
- 0.80 ounces of rosemary (leaves?)
- 4.35 ounces by weight (not volume) Everclear
I gently shook the spice jar several times a week and decanted the tincture on December 1 - about 2.5 months of infusion time.
To document the completion of the BB, I have provided the following:
- picture of the rosemary, freshly harvested
- picture of the tincture being made
- picture of the finished tincture in its labeled jar

I almost completely forgot about submitting this BB, and the tincture is now half gone after sharing with some friends not long ago. But when browsing through the PEP BB Calculator I noticed it was not marked as completed. So here goes, better late than never!

Here is what is left of the strained finished tincture.
I made rosemary tincture with fresh rosemary from my garden and 80 proof vodka. It sat in a dark cupboard for several weeks, and I shook it when I thought about it. I see others on this thread used Everclear, and I'm curious about using that next time to compare the difference.

I harvested and dried the rosemary from my garden over the summer. I then filled 80 proof organic vodka to cover the herbs. I shook the jar and stored it in a dark cabinet. Then strained it.
