I took a poo-less shower and flushed a toilet with the drippings. I'm confident this is 3 gallons out of a 5 gal bucket, but if there is a concern I'll add another post the next time I shower.

So I used rainwater to wash my hair (with bicarbonate of soda, apple scrap vinegar and camomile) and collected the used water in a garden trug. I'm hoping that using rainwater will be softer than the hard tap water we have here.

Here are two more lots of reusing greywater, from washing my hair and having a quick shower. The hair washing was about 5 litres and the shower was a bit more so together with the last lot of hair washing I think I've got to 3 gallons - that's a lot of water.

Quick question, could I complete this by using my bathwater to wash my clothes in the washer? Absolutely no soap or products go in the bath. In Japan it is usual to take a very quick shower to clean your body. (Turn off the water whilst lathering up) then get into the bath. The whole family uses the same bath water one after another (you only get in once you are clean). After you all have soaked in the bath, you then use the water to wash your clothes. I use a pump to transfer the bathwater to my washer.

If it wouldn't qualify here, is there somewhere else it would?

(I clicked submit rather than certify but somehow it still shows up like I want to certify something, which I don't. Sorry!)

Great! That's tomorrow's BB sorted then! :) (trying to do one or two a day :))

I won't be able to show buckets of water though so i:'all have to do a before the pump goes in the bath and after of that is okay? :)
