This was a perfect excuse for me to try another style hatchet, this one is more-so styled to being a tomahawk design with a longer handle. I'm planning on using this tool for light brush clearing, chopping branches, and hammer when the time calls. This would not be possible as it came from the store because there is a big flat spot on the blade's edge. I'm getting pretty handy with a flat file and found that I could get a halfway decent edge after a few rounds of filing each side.
