I only thought to take pictures once the rice had already started cooking so I didn’t take any pictures of me washing the rice but I did. Then I added the water and pressed the button. Just bought this stainless steel rice cooker as I’m working on removing all toxic cookware.
To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
- you must produce at least two cups of grain ✔️
- you must use a rice cooker, crock pot or Instant Pot (other brands of pressure cookers are fine) ✔️rice cooker
To show you've completed this Badge Bit, you must provide:
- a picture of the uncooked grain in your cooker ✔️
- a picture of your cooked grain in your cooker (clearly at least 2 cups of cooked grain - if it isn't clear, make it clear with an extra picture) ✔️
Please see the attached pictures of two cups of rice with four cups of water, sesame seed oil, and a pinch of rice cooked in a rice cooker.
I wanted to make chicken and rice with a stew hen I got from a farmers market peer. Figured I should start these bbs so made the rice in the crockpot. 2 cups of brown rice covered with 4+ cups of hot chicken broth from said hen, some bay leaves, salt and spices too. yum yum

fully cooked rice to which was added cooked chicken, carrots, onions, and celery
Ash Jackson approved this submission. Note: I certify this BB complete! Remember, your other 'cook grain' BBs will all need to be rice (so they're the same grain)
