Would you rather use just your hands or tools with only your non-dominant hand?

Well, I might hit my thumb seventeen times but at least I will have a hammer. Non-dominant hand it is.

They say using your non-dominant hand for things is good for your brain... probably not for your thumb, like you mentioned, but I think I would also go with tools with my non-dominant hand.

I'm ambidextrous.

I'll take the tools!

I vote non-dominant.
Have recently, unwillingly entered into the ranks of the non-dominant hand, users club. (It is getting better)
I can attest that we all are capable of switching...
Even when you do not want to.
The easiest way of coping is also the hardest ...to ask for help...

I taught myself to be ambidextrous. I'm a tool using animal and want my tools!

Although, quite often the tool that will do the job best, so I use it, is my bare hands.

I am Rt handed. My older brother is L handed. He taught me to swing a bat, catch a ball, brush my teeth, shoot a gun, etc.   So, while I am not always comfortable using my L hand,  I am more comfortable than many.  So, I choose my non dominate hand.

Just my hands...it leads to better "projects" like crawling around the woods and gardens digging, weeding and planting just like my heroes, the critters!

No body mentioned what the project is???  Tool user so most likely gimmee the tools.  Driving nails with my bare hand is painful.  Cutting stones with a karate chop is worse yet.

I would use my non-dominant hand, with tools. It might take me three times as long, but hopefully there would be a learning curve. Surely you'd get better with practice?

Non dominant hand, learn to use it and make some new brain connections!

Non-dominate hand would be better it can get pretty hard and much longer to do something without tools, depending on the project.
