Testing affiliate stuff for digital market - please test!

Okay, my darling little lab rats! Next test.

We're testing how the affiliate stuff works on the backend, and making sure everything goes where it's supposed to go, and everyone who should get money, actually gets money!

We're going to test the affiliate link stuff now, with the Hugelkulture Micro doc streaming video.

So, could people whose last names start with A - M please click on the AFFILIATE LINK - which will take you to the digital market thread - and then purchase the document.

And, could people whose last names start with N - Z please click on the NON-AFFILIATE LINK - which will take you to the digital market thread - and then purchase the document.

I dropped the price to $1.00 for about 24 hours of testing.

Paid, but haven't tried to play (yet). Mobile battery on life support (14%). Back later with an update, I hope. We'll see if pay now, play later works.

I paid and PayPal took me through about three steps (log in, select method of payment, confirmation page) before the transaction was completed. Then I was back at the spot in the thread where the video was now available.

The logo on the PayPal page looks great!

Did it and got confirmation!

Paid, video appeared like magic, it was delightful!

i payed through paypal with no issues. then i had to scroll down and found that the video was now available. will this video be available for me to view indefinatly or is there a way i can download it now to watch later? i began to watch it just to make sure that it does work and it does but i dont have time to watch the whole thing right now.

You will have access for many years.  

I want to say "indefinitely" but I cannot predict what crazy is going to happen over the next 20 years that might make that change.

Non-affiliate link pulled in the video w/o issues---except operator error when I kept clicking on still photos.

Worked like a charm, 5 clicks to the video. In case it helps, I did a video screengrab, it's 1360 x 950.

Bought access via the non-affiliate link with pie - worked beautifully.

all good. purchased the plans and the microdoc. download successful on document and watched good quality video from your page.

Hi Tracy,

I just bought it through the affiliate link using Chrome. It took me to PayPal and the payment went through ok, but I did not see any link to download it. PayPal shows the transaction:

I received an email from PayPal about the purchase, but so far no email with a download link. It would help us test if we knew what to expect.  Note that my name starts with G and so does my company name, but after I did it I realized the PayPal account I used also has a name starting with P. Letting you know so you can keep your test straight. I'm not sure which name will show up, but expect it would be the one starting with P.

The link for the download appears in the thread itself after you pay. It's at the bottom of the first post. Let me know when you find it.

Gail, it appears in this very thread. You come back once you've paid, refresh the page if you have to and the download is there. No other thread to find.

For me, I went back to the top of this page and clicked on the "non-affiliate link," and that took me to a page with the video available about 1/3 of the way down.
