I'd already made a clothesline, and so just took mine apart and took pictures. You could untie one of your knots, take a picture, and then turn it into a  tautline hitch, which will allow you to tighten the clothesline. This is really helpful, because the lines sag and stretch underweight.

And then put clothes on the line and snap a picture!

Trying this again... the lines were 12ft long each so they also weren't long enough.  I put another 12ft line in bringing it to 36ft total.

First load is working out well!

I renewed my clothes line today as the paracord was all perished and sagging. I ended up re-using a section of it (after removing the frayed and perished outside) as the rope I was using to replace it was too short. I replaced the line with some more paracord that I dug out of a drawer and disposed of the old stuff before it could disintegrate into microplastic (a small portion of it was coconut fiber rope so that is now in the compost heap!).

The garden is about 18m in length and the line a little over 10m (32 ft). I've included a screenshot of Google Maps and their "measure distance" function to help illustrate this.

Edit: added photo of clothes on new line

Ah, my bad, I didn't read the list of required photos clearly enough. I've just washed a few things, hung them out and taken a photo which I've added to the [edited] post, above.

I wanted to make the most of having a warm boiler room in the winter to dry clothes. We’ve used drying racks in this space but we are limited by the size of items we can dry. Today I installed four 3m lines = 12m = 39ft.

I fixed four metal eye plates to a wooden beam and four to the external brick wall. I used up some line I had left over from installing an outside line and some para-cord from my camping supplies.

Here are my pictures.
