Welcome to the Family friends:
We are glad to have you!    You'll be overwhelmed for awhile but never fear!
The rest of us are here to help each other!
Do as much or as little as you have time for and feel comfortable doing.
We are all here to share and avoid the normal nastiness that so much of the internet involves.

Is it too late to say thanks for the welcome? I lost my web for a week, so I missed the party.

Must be going around. My permaculture Instagram page was completely erased Friday. Ten years worth of pictures and instruction gone. It’s been a weird one all around. Glad you’re back though!

Ten years! Ouch. That can be devastating, emotionally.

I don’t mind starting over. I do mind losing all those pics of my kids. I couldn’t appeal it because it was just gone. If I had an Amazon storefront attached I’m sure things would have been different. I have a friend who started a page fourteen months ago. She does a show and tell of products she likes and has a link to her storefront where they can be purchased. Amazon, IG and her make a cut. This is not a sour grapes rant though. Her job was a Covid casualty and I’m happy she’s able to make some money. Here I am telling folks to grow comfrey, cover crops and don’t till. Instead of sending folks to Amazon I sent them here and video links. Links to Masanobu Fukuoka, Sepp Holzer and Paul’s YouTube page. I guess it all could have been a glitch though. I’ll never know.

... and the moral of Scott Stiller's story is  *always* have a back-up of important stuff!

Sorry you lost so much stuff Scott. I have a moderately crappy back-up system where I just back-up onto a thumb drive my folder that has pictures/recipes/spread-sheets etc linked to it. At least that way it also doesn't get out of date software was - we lost a bunch of stuff when we had technology that was supposed to be forward compatible, be not as compatible as they claimed.

Thanks Jay. I started a completely new account yesterday. All important pictures will be saved in one way or the other. I haven’t figured out how yet. It’s really strange to see only twenty followers. Most people think this account is just a rip off. It’s not all bad though. Escaping weird ex coworkers isn’t always this easy!
