I stand corrected. Appreciated!

I should have recognized it, being as though it even shows up in one of my family history photographs.

It was a light-duty day today. Went into town on errands, including a recycling run and grocery-grabbing. Drank coffee.

Here's the  real reason I'm so preferential to comfrey plants.

Puff's AKA Batman's
kittens all seem happy and healthy - if still a bit confused. At least they're opening their eyes now...!

Big thanks to Davin for the Boots Love! I went grocery shopping with his contribution, and brought home lots of (edible) swag.

In the afternoon, I looked up at the clouds a lot. Here are a few.

That's all for now. Hope you've enjoyed your Saturday. I sure have.

The clouds took their time waking up this morning. Looks like I even beat them to the sunrise... They were still lounging in the neighbor's hayfield as I walked past.

One of my Nest Labor projects for today was to finally install the French Cleats for the laundry drying rack I'd built for the Solarium. Well, I put in the cleats, but the laundry rack itself looks even worse now that it's upside-down. I ought to refurbish that a little, and maybe use a measuring tape this time to ensure accuracy in length and width of all the pieces...

Another project I worked on today was in clearing the patio of weeds and dandelions that had grown in some of the cracks. It's now a bit more than halfway done.

And hey...! Look who the cat dragged in today.

Seriously, I'm happy this guy is here. We went for a drive after work was done for the day, and caught up over dinner.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading, and enjoy your day...!

Lots of enjoyment in the garden today at Basecamp, plus another creature sighting.

As you enter the Basecamp paddock and follow the path round to the back of the house, you pass what I call the "fragrant corner." Lovely flowers all over the place add the scent of all things in bloom to the air.

After work, I visited my blueberries in the dehydrator. This week calls for mostly-overcast weather, so it's prudent to use the rocket boost.

Finally: we've continued to observe the Rocky Mountain Hirsute Dipshit in its pole-climbing endeavors. The creature was at it again today, though this time we suspect it was sounding its mating call from such a high elevation. Phonetically, it sounds remarkably similar to the English phrase, "Get me the hell down from here." We will report back any observations of the attraction of potential mates.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading, and enjoy your day...!
