Saturday is here, and a time to relax after the end of the Fall Fest. It was too breezy to comfortably ride my bicycle round town, but I still walked a fair bit.

Here's a sign outside Hellgate High School. I still maintain that's the coolest school name I'd ever heard.

Cat, one of the attendees at the Fall Fest (and Permies staff member) made me a cob donut as a souvenir from the Fall Fest...! And it's vegan!!!

Speaking of cats, I've included a number of photos here of them. First up is Black Spark, a hard-workin' mama (of most of the other cats).

And I have two photos of Donkey, AKA Bill Joy, the cat that rooms with me up at the tent. She's the toughest.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful weekend.

I enjoy looking at the full moon in the middle of the night.

I made a wooden sign for our kitchen today. Next up will be its companion "Compost" sign.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading, and enjoy your day...!

Back at it on a Monday. Seems like the temperatures will rise this week, so I better catch snapshots of icicles like these as much as I can.

Here's Dez in the yurt, adding the skylight windows into the frame, one at a time. He spent the rest of the morning adding securement hardware, adding protection so the windows won't fly out during windy weather. Thanks again to Nick for sealing the window panes during the Fall Fest last week.

My afternoon was dominated with maintenance of the RMHs at both the Love Shack and the Red Cabin.

I took a bunch of photos of the inside of the heaters to share with Paul. If you've ever wanted to see the inside of a RMH after it's been used for a while, here's your golden opportunity.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading, and enjoy your day...!

the two with flaky stuff look normal and not dangerous but the las one with the caked on stuff looks like a chimney fire hazard.
