It was the kind of Friday that made you grateful for the opportunity to watch some honeybees do their thing. So that's what I have pictures of today.

This last one's my favourite of the bunch.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading, and enjoy your weekend...!

I wonder if you have leaf cutter bees making holes in the petals?  They chew off small bits and use them to seal off each egg, nectar and pollen  section and the end of the holes they use.  They are very small bees that like hot weather.

That's quite possible. There are all sorts of pollinators zipping around here, and there are many small solitary bees. It wouldn't surprise me if we have leaf cutters in these gardens.

Some of the other damage may have been due to the harsh storm we had a few days ago. I recall having to pick up a number of these sunchokes off the ground, then come up with a way to shore them up so they can keep growing undeterred by the winds. Those petals with the yellow hue "scraped" off them might be due to this.

Another day of bicycling round Missoula and taking care of errands.

Looks like the company that makes the chainsaws we use - Greenworks - also makes UTVs. I wonder what the reviews of the vehicle would reveal to us. I ought to look this up.

Kayakers on the Clark Fork River.

The wall of one of the cafes where I had lunch. I assume these are "locally sourced" photos as well.

Some stacked rocks along the Clark Fork River.

Finally: well, the Roxy - a local non-profit cinema - finally roped me in with their revival screening of one of my Top Five Favourite Films: The Big Lebowski. Thanks for joining me today, Dez.

How many of those 80V batteries do you think that UTV takes?

And it's okay Stephen, i think anyone who knows you realizes that, after your multiple lunches, you bought a Lebowski ticket and snuck into the Barbie screening. No judgement at permies...
