Here's a photo of the four buckets of gravel that I had sifted out of rubble, then hauled down the hill (at least it wasn't up the hill!) to where Caleb and Hao were digging.

Well, if you were RUNNING UP THAT HILL you might find that the cool cats keeping up with the latest would throw you a pointless riddle like some sort of MASTER OF PUPPETS- STRANGER THINGS  have happened...

I've just traveled down a search-engine whirlpool hole that I'll never forget. Perhaps I need to Fight Fire With Fire or my memories will just Fade To Black...

(...sorry, I never watched the show otherwise I would have picked up on that much, much quicker!)

What a Friday... Here are a couple images.

It finally happened: I noted Swamp Castle with its very own historically-accurate signage. I'll be applying for National Historical Preservation status sometime next week.

While gardening at the Abbey... Can you find the cutest little bee in this picture?

Finally: I finally had a chance to hang out with the horses at the watering hole today. Although I don't know their names, here's one of 'em. I didn't want to interrupt breakfast otherwise I'd be trying to pet it or something:

Hi Stephe. Finally I found out who's the guy with the orange hat ... And that you're a boot (already for a month!). So now I can follow your posts and photos too.

For Sean Flip... Here are the photos I was able to grab related to your SKIP projects.

BERM SCAFFOLD: Testing the integrity of the mortise and tenon joints of the berm scaffold. (thanks to Cory for snapping the photo while I was jumping around like an idiot)

SPLIT & STACK HALF FACE-CORD OF WOOD: I have a couple photos of your end-product. Thanks to Fred who snapped the photos of me holding the tape measure. Here's the full amount with a tape measure across it:

Here's a close-up on the measurement indicating that it is over 4 feet across:

Here's a vertical measurement with a tape measure:

Here's a closeup of the vertical measurement, showing that it was over 4 feet (even including the 2x4 separator):

CUT & PEEL LOG #1: I'm not sure if this was the one you did with the bow saw, or the chainsaw. I remember you and I measuring this one from its top-down, since there was the "warp" in the wood that would render the lower part of the tree too difficult to use for lumber or round-timber. Here's a photo of the length:

Here's detail of the measurement, indicating that it's over 15' long:

CUT & PEEL LOG #2: Here's the second log. Again, I was unable to determine which tool was used to fell this tree.

Here's a closeup of the measurement, indicating that it's well over 15' in length.

KINDLING CRACKER: Here's your artifact:

I was unable to find your signature stamps on it, unfortunately. I looked everywhere I could think of, but had no luck.

I also could not find your seed bombs.

Hopefully these are useful, but drop me a line if you have questions (or can provide more details on your metal stamping for the kindling cracker). Thanks!

Look! It's Leonardo da Vinci! And he brought a tiny ad!
