This one is a classical piano approach with a constant beat to follow along.

I sent out updates on the past kickstarters.

I think that kickstarter-inc does something with all the emails so they can track all the clicks.  If you click on it, do you end up at the right place?

The second video's music was so quiet compared to the voices that I couldn't really hear it with the voice volume normal.  But I voted for the first one since I like that music best.  I also like classical but it just doesn't seem as good a fit for this use.

That said, I got sleepy listening until I sped up the playback to 1.25x.  That was just a tad bit fast, but everyone except the one student guy sounded almost like they were talking in slow motion at normal speed!  So if you need to trim a few seconds off the video time, just speed it up to 1.1x or 1.2x, then add the music at normal speed in the background.

The course sounds really interesting!

Folk and piano music are too distracting, that's why I prefer #2. Maybe it's because the background music is less loud.

paul wheaton wrote:I know that for the "notify me" stuff for the SKIP book, we hit 822 before going live.  And for the "free heat" kickstarter, we got to 402.

We're at 510 and we are still about a week away from launch!  This is exciting!

We might set a new record!

Welcome Bobby.

I'd say the only requirement is attitude, besides payment. If you read behind lines, this course is learning how to grow things in a completely ecological way, so forget about monocultures and massive production. An ecological garden/farm is usually more profitable in terms of output vs inputs, but the raw yield is lower, which may not be acceptable for some minding people.

The private preview notice, the positioning of the image vs. the text on the page, the video plays on one, lots more info on one when you scroll down.  lots more....  was this a trick question just to get us to look at them??

The first link states that it is a draft and it has comprehensive information about the program.  The second does not state that it is a draft and it contains no further information other than a title image.
