I'm trying to figure out if I set it up correctly.  There should be one advert on the right side and another if you open a post and view it.

I want them to be discrete enough they don't get in the way of the enjoyment.  But also, I am hoping to trickle charge my bank account with this.

1. Do you see the advert on the main page?
2. Do you see the advert when you click on a post?
3. are you viewing on a desktop?

As a bonus, do you think it customized the ads to you?  

I don't know how google works these days.  It's been nearly 10 years since I took the ads down.  

Yes for the main page (once I disable my ad blocker).

No for the post.

Maybe I have an ad blocker that's why it won't show?  Or maybe because my IP is the same as my google account?  

I see one advert on the right of the screen another at the bottom of the post, clicking on the post  doesn't make it bigger which seems a bit odd and it removes the advert that was there and it gets replaced by the comments.

Good point.  

It's a really old template from back before smartphones and wide screens.  I need to find a new one that is... what's the word?  Dynamic?  Responsive?  that changes the shape and size based on the device.  It's been trouble finding one that is simple enough.  I don't want whoosh visuals.  

The template might be part of my problem with the ads.  So I guess it ups priority.

Yep. Definitely tracked my IP, as I found local apartment rentals. Subject matter customization I'd say is low, but then again I wipe all browser cookies when closing my browser. But it seems to me like the adverts are working like you'd want/expect them to.

I see an ad along the right side of the main page as well as at the bottom of the top post (in addition to the one on the right.)  Also, there is an ad when I click on a post.

I'm viewing on a desktop.  Oh, and I don't think the ads are relevant to me.

The ads were different and both for clothing

It shows web page not available above your content on my Android phone using Duck Duck Go browser.
