POST 113 (DAY 120, Tuesday, 2020.12.08)
[Morning Entry] ::: The Hurt Hurt :::
RANT: "..Hurting people hurt [others].." J.M.
.. a few years ago (about 4-5 years), someone mentioned that if someone is being offensive, its because they are in pain.. as a reactionary mechanism, somehow its human nature to "share the pain" so to speak.. perhaps its similar to the desire to "share the joy" in an almost natural-reaction type fashion.. later i read a section in a leadership book that explained why "hurt people hurt".. really good info actually..
.. so since i became aware (or learned) about this, it has become slightly easier to not take offenses personally.. according to another book (the four agreements), it is imperative to not take things personally, in order to live in peace.. this particular agreement (to not take things personal) has been, for me, a lifelong challenge since childhood.. i'm not sure why i was born with such a victim-mentality when it comes to certain petty things, but i'm glad to say that i have a willingness to adopt the VICTOR-mentality in its stead.. a skill.. takes training.. and milestones are reached when unfounded stubbornness gives way to an open willingness.. as usual, my rantings do not have a point.. so......
enjoy the pics~!

Hi Dez. Yes, it's interesting to 'meditate' on the thought why people hurt. Indeed, hurt people hurt others.
And there's another side too. Hurt people feel hurt too by people who do not mean to hurt them. Several times there was someone who was offended by my words (written, on the internet), while I was only giving my opinion, my view on things. If it was possible to have a (written) conversation with that person, every time I found out they were hurt by something I had nothing to do with. They projected the hurt feeling on my words, my opinion.
So it's good not to feel 'rejected' by someone who reacts offended on your opinion. Think of it: probably they were hurt.

POST 114 (DAY 121, Wednesday, 2020.12.09)
[Morning Entry]
THE WORK (yesterday): Dustin, Josiah's long time friend, visits us from Washington state.. he's fast at digging holes.. as i have witnessed while preparing the ground for post installation.. the final four posts for The First Wofati Greenhouse, man~!!!.. at the east wingwall this time.. new technique--burn a fire above the measured position, to warm the ground enough to make it "diggable".. the ground is frozen so hard these days that even a pick axe cannot penetrate the outer surface (for about a foot deep, or more?).. i got the chance to watch a professional fire fighter build up a woodstack for this task.. i then tended the four fires to make sure they would not go out.. they burned for about 3-4 hours, and when we got back from lunch, the surface dirt was soft enough to allow a 3-4 foot hole, at 15 inches wide.. AMAZING~!.. for fun sake~.. things like this make me grin like im on the inside of a truly joy-giving secret..
BDAY SHOUT OUT: happy bday to my homie, L.A.B.!!! i hope you have a a wonderful 29.. may the universe conspire FOR you, and not against you.. may all things happen FOR you and not to you.. may the stars twinkle at your vibration, to lift you up when things seem weighty, day or night.. as a witness to your journey, i can attest to your kind of brilliance as remarkable and infectious.. warm and fun.. smart and lovely.. yours truly, Dez.. ps. get over here! =D
enjoy the pics~!

POST 115 (DAY 122, Thursday, 2020.12.10)
[Morning Entry]
THE WORK (yesterday): installed the final posts at The First Wofati Greenhouse, man~!!!.. the east wingwall just needs its rafters notched and placed.. then basically, the rest of the construction is membrane, roof poles, and dirt.. its strange to step back and recognize that the first half of the build is set.. second half feels like a combination of dejavu and bittersweet wrap up.. the finish is just as important as the start.. we row on, we finish strong..
enjoy the pics~!
