Dude, that sucker won't quit.  I expected it to draw out beyond fruiting point within a month or so.  Sheesh.

Yeah dude, I'm a big fan of the mushroom door grocery store.  Wouldn't have happened without your experiment so have a digital apple for all the shrooms I shaved off that door, I think I'm getting the better deal.

a Billion $ to spend on a Road trip and you go to Kansas mi.... day 172

Roll out of bed, make the coffee, get the axe the bear spray and the bags for the berries and go.  Turns out Oct 1st this year is a little too late for anything but snow berries at 6k ft and it's probably been frosting every night for the past couple weeks at that alt.  At least I got a couple pics of the shrubs and underbrush telling the official fall story.
