Hi Caleb. Those small blue flowers are called 'grape hyacinth' in English. Muscari botryoides is the official Latin name. And here in the Netherlands, in Dutch, we call them 'blauwe druifjes' (small blue grapes). In my front yard they behave almost like invasives, expanding both underground by making new small bulbs and by seed.

Boston bbq Ribs with Kimchi on the side day 83

Although, this may look like a desparate internet instrument sale, trust me i'd rather be playing them, or at least trying to with one...

I also get the gravity of the camera going on right now, so getting to a fast "Jack of all trades" level skill with one seems smart...

And before i think too much about my grammar, phrasing or anything else linguistically limiting, I'm gonna go play an instrument.

A long walk through the woods looking for the changes ample precipitation and warmer weather always bring.  With all of the rain, it's looking good for edible and medicinal shrooms, in the near future.   However, I didn't find much,  another leg of deer gnawed down by the local stealthy cougar, a couple turkey that didn't give me enough time to take their picture and a nervous flea-lion who found herself way beyond her safe space in the hunting pack.

When me and early got back to the abbey the other two were there as well. Bobo had rapped herself up under the frog blanket with just her nose sticking out.

Battling Rat-finks with Krone day 89

Still testing the scenarios and finding limitations of the new photo gear or my own knowledge of how to use it.  The fun way to discovery is always more trial than error.  Happy accidents do happen and that's why it's better to be lucky than smart, sometimes.
