POST 387 (DAY 397, Friday, 2021.9.10)
[Morning Entry]

…. Yesterday after dinner I went for a jog and push-ups.. it felt really good to just be out there with the physical pain of exercise and blood flow.. I remembered how nurturing it is to my mind and soul to establish a focus (climb to the top), and gently meet my limits.. take short breaks every few feet; no point in getting injured.. nothing to prove, except that I’m here, to explore just how in or out of shape these components have become.. assess my heart’s capacity, my legs’ stamina, and joint alignment.. I remembered I could go further between breaks while jogging up this hill.. I also remembered having a harder time than this when I first arrived at the lab.. it’s fire season, but I need this.. this is the way.. ;)

Inge—thanks! And thanks for keeping in touch.. That last entry was somewhat vague.. I guess seem to be writing that way these days.. :)

POST 388 (DAY 398, Saturday, 2021.9.11)
[Morning Entry]

…. Yesterday was picking up bricks and oxygen from town, for the RMH jamboree.. in the morning was mulch pick up.. the day before that was chip fractured gravel pickup.. next is pea gravel pickup and I’m thinking that most of the big town runs are done for a little while.. we might need one more mulch run because we didn’t have the side walls mounted for the dump trailer, resulting in about a half load instead of a full.. not too bad for firsts.. we all made it back safely, including Judy.. she does seem to be showing some signs of a cooling system issue.. cyber truck should resolve that though .. :)

….grateful for super thoughtful and kind permies folk.. I was thinking about how much I like gardening.. having a history of not being into gardening at all, I thought it’d be fun to get a gardening tool as my one year gift to myself.. making it through the first year surely was not a cakewalk.. though there were many winter days when I made gluten free cake at the f1sher pric3 hous3!.. pruners just seemed appropriate because I could use them literally daily.. based on a few internet reviews, these are supposedly the kind that last for generations.. perfect, because that will help curb my consumerism addiction juuuust a little.. ;)

POST 391 (DAY 401, Tuesday, 2021.9.14)
[Morning Entry]

…. Yesterday was gardening and rmhj prep and solarium.. spread some mulch while watering.. we got a dump truck load of bark mulch and man it’s going fast.. may need another load.. used the tractor to move some bricks we hauled in last week .. turns out the tractor is very strong but also very front heavy.. just yesterday I learned that bricks are very heavy when loaded on a pallet .. and that the tractor has a ignition safety on its driver seat.. and that it’s pretty easy to throw it off balance because of how strong it’s forklift is..! .. solarium notching is at its most tricky currently.. because the second beam is getting its three post notches..
