…..grateful for a weekend that didn’t feel like a weekend.. because it put things in contrast.. the meaningful work that Bootcamp does every single day.. versus kicking snow to climb 100 feet up a slippery hill, with no end in sight.. grateful for Bootcamp..

“Vivir.. vivir lo nuestro..” (can anyone guess this song lyric?)

….. actions can be fear based or love based.. fear often wants to impress others, or gain their approval.. approval sometimes at a higher cost than necessary.. a friend mentioned to me one time about a fellow who asked to borrow $5.. he said he’d pay him back and then later denied owing.. ok it was only $5.. my friend went on to interpret that the fellows integrity didn’t amount to $5, in this case.. that interpretation shook me to core because I understood right then that my integrity wouldn’t be held hostage for even 10 cents.. Iconsidered myself an honest person.. this realization was about 15 years ago.. the fellow knew just what to say to gain a $5 loan, and it cost him future trustworthiness.. words are powerful.. fear seeks to gain for self.. love seeks something else.. and usually costs not ones integrity.. without getting into specifics, I must confess that I had been noticing a regression in my own integrity, and it’s time to get back on the wagon.. I’m sorry—I messed up.. you see, there’s a special child that’s counting on me to live my utmost utmost.. this child is important to me in the highest value.. he is me: my dear inner child.. without him, I have nothing.. don’t forget to love your inner child, however that looks.. teach them good things and remind them daily of their worthiness.. believe in their capabilities and encourage them to reach for their divine.. because why not? Because if not you, who else will? Because then, perhaps love can overflow in abundance like tapping the deep spring..

Thats a great powerful post on the 5$ . When you have lost your integrity you have lost everything. The road to hell is paved with broken promises...
Even if its just a Hell of a persons own making...


I once let a homeless guy use my phone to ring people up to try to find a place to stay, and I listened as he did it...
Each of the nine people he called for help - reminded him how he had stolen from them and betrayed them in the past and so would not help him anymore.
He had harmed so many people that he had no where to turn...

The road up and out is one of integrity.

Amazing that even stealing 5 $ can wipe out all your integrity with someone...
