POST 480 (DAY 490, Sunday, 2021.12.12)
[Morning Entry]

….. grateful for “what a wonderful life”.. that was a pretty cool movie to watch with the group (thanks paul theater!).. grateful for a wonderful Cat-urday.. I did my inner cat thing and just recharged.. haven’t done that in a while.. I suspect that all cars really do is eat  sleep and play, but maybe I’m wrong?.. Mr Fishes does go hunting frequently coming back with a fresh catch.. anyway I do feel quite recharged.. grateful for a chance to get reacquainted with my self.. periodically I seem to get bit caught up and tangled in a way that feels off course.. easier to notice and correct course earlier than later.. I let this stint go on for long enough.. and now it’s time to get back on track with my routines and regimens because those are the things I’ve set up for myself to bring the best out of me ,and thus, my life.. forward ambulation, push-ups, breathings, stretching, resting, meditation..

POST 481 (DAY 491, Monday, 2021.12.13)
[Morning Entry]

….. grateful for struggles.. of course I don’t prefer the pain and frustration, but it’s part of life.. it’s a reminder that my comfort zone is stretching and stretchable.. grateful for calmness.. there’s a part of me that wants to rage and shout when struggle happens.. how do I flow instead, when struggle is happening?.. the dictionary says struggle is “to fight” or “giving one’s best”.. I’m not a fighter, but I do consider myself a giver of my best.. so that’s within my flow—to simply aim for my best.. how do I show up?.. with class and vulnerability.. hope and humility.. gratitude and sincerity.. even as I write this entry I’m reminded that I haven’t visited my values in written form in a while.. and that is what helps me flow.. grateful for meditation.. slowing down to take a breath and surrender.. “I cannot wage war when surrender is my only currency..”

Wow it looks like it's been several days of heavy overcast weather! Your second pic shows some sun, but has it been mostly overcast, mostly sunny, or an even mix of each lately?

I wonder if lashing the cross pieces of the junkpole fence would work better than the single screw, even if the pieces are trimmed to make flat sides, or at least having it as a backup? Having a piece pop off and opening up a fence section to deer would be really frustrating, waking up the next day to find a bunch of plants/seedlings chewed up due to a failed screw!

POST 483 (DAY 493, Wednesday, 2021.12.15)
[Morning Entry]

….. grateful for grace.. an undeserved favor.. looking back, I’ve received gifts, meals, and invitations from many kind folks.. these favors weren’t earned necessarily.. I just happened to be around very generous people.. I of course thanked them, on each opportunity I had.. I also hope to return the favor with something special, for the way they left a lasting impression in my heart.. passing on the generosity—I can definitely nod my head to that a few times.. like to the beat of good music..

Mark—overcast most days.. sunny/cloudy 2-3 days off the week.. temp is steady around low 30’s through the day.. ….. lashing sounds like a great idea actually—easier to keep an eye on than a screw also..
