POST 501 (DAY 511, Sunday, 2022.01.02)
[Morning Entry]
….. grateful for new beginnings.. yesterday was a good chance for putting in some extra time on the solarium.. it’s harder to take pics in the cold because my phone freaks out when exposed to below 40 degrees.. maybe I should invest in a go pro.?.. anyway back to new beginnings—I used to be harder on myself than I even am today.. about efficiency and effectiveness, in communication and productivity.. is listen to this narrative that I wasn’t good enough.. then I’d feel down and discouraged.. after becoming aware of this pattern, I began to wonder if there was another way.. something more upbeat perhaps?.. so I picked up a phrase mantra.. “begin again.” .. it’s okay for a beginner to make many mistakes and fumbles.. so today, I’m just a beginner again.. and that grace offered to self brought peace and courage.. to try again.. to mess something up again.. with repetition, it’s bound to improve.. and the worst case is that I’ll learn something about something.. I’m a beginner every single day I wake up.. a humbling reminder that I need each morning anyway.. besides, aren’t things always or usually more fun when you’re climbing the learning curve?.. the novelty phase, you know?.. :)
Liv—thanks! We shall see! Why not?
Mike, Mark—thanks!! It’s awesome to be here!!

The snow looks great! As my Tacoma manual says snow chains are a no-no, when you switch to snow tires does Paul have a separate set of wheels and they are swapped on, or is it a matter of taking the truck to an auto shop and having the snow tires mounted and balanced on the existing wheels?

Cat talks about fish. Like it needs a fix. This tiny ad told me to never say "fix" to a cat person:
