Anybody have something to add to this list, or an idea of something to add to this list?

Any typos?

Anything to make the list a bit prettier?

Any profound praise for such a magnificent list?  :)   The thanks goes mostly to Mike and Nicole.    You should be able to click on each item to get more details.

The link for 'The kickstarter' is broken.

Joel Salatin's presentation is on there twice. Second one links to: Uncle Mud Cheat-Sheet # 2 Testing your Soil for Earthen Building (Ebook, PDF)

*Brad Lancaster (not brand)

Living Woods magazine link has permissions. (can't verify if link is correct)

Otherwise looks like a great package of goodies!

Should there be a comma after "canner" on the "Erica Wisner's rocket canner fryer and forge"?  Maybe that should also say "plans" at the end?
Staff note (paul wheaton) :

i agree with both points!

I'd like to again add "My PEP Badge Tracker" to the freebie list. I'm working to get it current with PEP 1.0

Everything we are doing this year is new stuff.  We think there are a lot of people that might see something they already have, they will pass on the whole thing.   So are doing our very best to make sure everything is something we have not offered in a previous kickstarter (or, at least, in the earlybird stuff).

But Ash, thanks so much for putting your tracker up in the past - i think it helped a lot of people learn what is PEP.

Yes take my money too!
Does anyone know the "Rules" regarding use of quotations around books and videos? I see quotation marks in some of the neat and generous early bird freebies and some without.
That's my two cents. Awesome work everyone!

I think the use of the quotes is good.  I think you make a good point about consistency - we'll make some changes.

I'm hoping we will add a few more things to the list.   If we add enough, it would be cool to say "more than $200 worth of stuff!"

Maybe add in some Sepp Holtzer grain or some other permies plants/seed. . . Sunchokes, walking onion, comfry, etc.

The tricky part of that is that if 2000 people put in $1 to get the earlybird stuff, then we have to send out 2000 packages.   So that would be about 1500 us packages for $10 to $20 per package and non-US packages that might be $30 to $120 per package.

So we get $2000 but it costs $40,000.

Digital goods, on the other hand, do have a distribution cost, but it is much lower.

OR perhaps a 20% off coupon for an order over some amount ($25?) of seeds, etc -- would drive some permies planting!! spring is springing

Cost is low and actually zero if they have an expiration date - say 1 year? and are never redeemed

All of the Early Bird Goodies are from our digital market. I don't believe we have any sort of programming to provide 25% off coupons, and I don't think anyone sells seed on permies' digital market.

All of these goodies, we got express consent from the sellers to offer these up. I'm sure if someone wanted to put sell seeds on the permies digital market and didn't mind covering the cost of postage (and seeds) because they wanted to be awesome, and also promote their store through this, Paul would probably be a-okay with that. But, I kind of doubt that might happen.

(Though, last year there was an awesome fellow who gave out Chinese artichoke plants to everyone who donated $10+ more at the end of the kickstarter. That was super gracious of him, and entirely unexpected! Someone else might decide to do that again, but we've had no word about that, so I wouldn't hold any hopes for that!)

I have something I could add to the list if you like.  I call it the "free superfoods nutrition and energitics chart".

I currently give it away for free on my website to capture emails.

Let me know if you are interested.

I'm new to the whole forum thing so I don't know how to add in your reply to my reply Mr. Wheaton, but forgive my ignorance; I hadn't thought of all that. Maybe that could be something for a backer that puts up more dough. Either way the list seems quite good as is. I'm definitely backing this kickstater, the SKIP idea is an amazing idea. I only wish this was thought of 10 years ago.

Has the super early bird started? Is it over? I’m pretty sure you’ll need to take my money at some point. I’m just a little confused.

Don't worry, it hasn't started yet.   We're still trying to make it even better before the kickstater launches.

When we have the kickstarter page out on kickstarter's site up we'll let you know so you can give feedback on it and sign up to be "notified" when it goes live.

Thank you in advance for the support

How?  As soon as the kickstarter goes live (hopefully late next week) you can pledge at any amount to get these goodies.

If you meant "Now", then Thank You very much and we're working as fast as we can to allow us to take your money
