I wiped down windows this morning, including these three. Some of the windows in our house are insulated enough that they don't collect condensation in the cold, but those that are thinner definitely need wiping down every winter morning.

Ohsoji (End of the year cleaning) Task 2 - Wipe down window condensation

This is a task I have been failing to make a routine for a long time now. I have not cleaned the windows and sills yet, but that is on my to-do list as well.

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
  - you must wipe down at least 3 windows with condensation (to prevent mold)

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, you must provide:
  - a before picture of the three windows
  - an action shot of you wiping down a window
  - an after picture of the three windows
  - OR a 2-minute video of you doing this

Before

Action

I wiped with an undershirt turned into rag. Usually I use paper towels to clean glass, but if I'm doing this as an every morning routine I'd rather use something washable and reusable. I find if wiping with cloth going very slowly and giving the rag time to absorb the water is more effective than a quick wipe which just smears the water around.

Does this BB still count towards the nest sand badge? I saw it had been updated so that it's no longer a choose your own adventure from a long(ish) list and this isn't on there anymore.

EDIT: found the comment in the nest badge thread and read the title of this thread a little more carefully. Still using it for the straw badge!

It was the first morning of the year with condensation so I wiped down my windows. I dry my clothes on a stand in my bedroom so I have to wipe down the windows quite a bit during winter.

It's a cold and rainy day,  had some condensation on the windows when I started doing some cleaning and cooking this morning.

(the lower parts of my windows are privacy film,  it's not all condensation)
