I have a bunch of trees that were allowed to grow between the pole building and the path on this property that I’ve been meaning to take down. So that’s a current project.

The branches at the top were resting on another tree’s branches so I had to hit the fibers under tension again with the saw.

Note: Hint: cut your notch angle much more open (70 degrees or so).  Looks like the notch closing may have contributed to it hanging up.

My sister was concerned this cottonwood might blow over in a windstorm and was thinning her horse pasture area. This was a big tree for me so my husband was taking photos and giving me feedback as I worked.
