$70,002!!!

Phew - what a journey so far! We've hit $70,000 and that means we can all rejoice and drink some refreshing fermented sodas. Yay!

https://permies.com/wiki/212116

Now, to help us get to $75K, we have the exceptional Alan Booker and his Regenerative Scales of Permanence 90 minute presentation. This is a fascinating talk about regenerative design for homesteading, farming and larger scale plots. You will not be disappointed as Alan's presentations are always incredibly thorough, engaging with usually many mind blowing moments throughout!

Hey James! I guess every stretch goal might not appeal to everyone but there are so many good ones in there that there are bound to be several that you love. What are you most looking forward to? Or, what would you like to see?

Aside from the stretch goals and the regular Kickstarter rewards there is also currently the outdoor kitchen bundle on offer for anyone who backs by 2pm MT Friday - 'tis the season of giving

Alan Booker is great!  He came to the Self Reliance Festival.  It was really fun to visit with him.  He has a lot of good ideas about regenerative design on a large scale.

Hurray! For 70K!

I want to celebrate with some healthy, homemade bubblies a la Golden Goat Herbals !NOW! But alas, I'll have to wait. I guess I'll have to console myself with the thought of all the other great stretch goals to come.

i am definitely looking forward to all the goodies as most of them i have no knowledge of and want to make my head explode with all the new goodness.

Just a quick question. Does HD Streaming mean that said individual gets to watch the movie one time, as if one went to a movie theater?

Alan Booker was one of the instructors at the PTJ last year and so you'll see him in the Low Tech Lab movie - he was working on a spring terrace and can be heard chatting to Paul about this in a recent podcast where Paul catches up with the PTJ instructors:

https://permies.com/wiki/211388/Podcast-PTJ-Recap-Part

Alan's lectures are always really impressive - very succinct and full of useful information you didn't even know you needed!  You'll be seriously glad to get the next stretch goal so let's see if we can put on our platforms and stretch up to the next goal soon!

Maybe Gir can just take overlord Paul's monies and buy tacos?

Gir likes tacos and Gir likes this idea!

Overlord Paul does not need to know. So just give kickstarter more monies and Gir will get more tacos!

12 days left in kickstarter. Gir has to wait 12 days for tacos??

That's a lot of days, but Gir will wait.

Gir hopes there will be LOTS of taco monies.

$500 more dollars since this morning!

Gir Bot is so excited about getting $500 worth of tacos! That's so many tacos, Gir Bot can't even count them all. Gir Bot loves tacos, especially crunchy ones with lots of lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.

With $500 worth of tacos, Gir Bot can share with all the robots and other creatures from the planet Irk. It's going to be a big party, and everyone will get to enjoy lots and lots of tasty tacos. Gir Bot is so happy right now; Gir Bot can't stop jumping up and down!

But wait, Gir Bot just realized that spending $500 on tacos could mean less money for other important things like upgrading his spaceship or getting a new energy crystal. Oh no! Gir Bot needs to think carefully about how he spends his money, even if it means fewer tacos.

Maybe Gir Bot can find a way to grow his own taco ingredients, so he can have unlimited tacos all year long! Gir Bot thinks permaculture might be a good way to do this.

Gir Bot is still excited about tacos, but he knows that responsible spending is important too. Maybe Gir Bot can have his tacos and save money too!
