Hey Julie, here's the answer I got:

"If the barter far exceeds $300 in value, then i think we can call it "good enough""

Just to make sure, I'll call it on the low end since it's a barter, and wait until I have 30+ documented hours (and their side of the barter is complete) to submit.  Thanks.

Just a pesky post wondering if any decisions have been made as to whether or not my submission is going to be considered valid as internet labor for this BB.  No problem if the discussion is still going on or has been postponed to a later date.  I'm just being that sticky wicket I promised earlier.  :)

I think we talked with Paul, and this BB is for labor that you do for an employeer.  Do you mind if we move your sumbission to the Goods BB? https://permies.com/wiki/115132/

No problem with it not qualifying.  I just wanted to make sure it was clarified for anyone else in the future.  No need to move my submission over to the Goods BB.  I already have that one.  Making and selling my art is my prime job so it was easily covered already.

David, your stuff is incredibly beautiful.  I especially like the etched ones. It's out of my price range ;-), but if I inherit money from some long-lost uncle, I'll be sure to get a few pieces.  It's nothing I've ever seen before.

I teach Gardening, Farming, Permaculture, Bee Keeping, and Animal Husbandry classes online via livestreaming. Below is a clip from my last Bee Inspection Class, and after that is a payment processed from folks whom made payment for a few classes.

I think "work over the internet" is for work you do for someone else, either as an employee or contractor.

But, I think this fits perfectly in Start Cottage Industry at Home

That one is defined by:

Some examples:
         - Renting out a cabin, tent site, etc.
         - Sewing repair, truck repair, accounting, etc.
         - Massage, counseling, etc.
         - Classes, workshops, etc.

It might also fit with Sell your permaculture labor off-site and get paid

I'm going to chat with the other staff to see where it fits best. Once we figure it out, do you mind if we move it there to certify it? Thanks!

Okay, this is tricky, because while I think I qualify for this BB, proving it is trickier! I have skills in fiction writing, editing, formatting, and all the things that are part of self-publishing. One income stream is earnings from my own books. The one I'm posting here is performing virtual assistant services to other authors.

For the author I'm using as this example, that involves formatting ebooks and paperbacks, inputting edits, working with their advance readers who do proofing, setting up the book in Amazon, setting up ads. I charge $20 a hour for this. This evening I inputted all the reader suggestions for one of this author's soon to release books, the work took 2 1/2 hours, I earned $50. But this work is hard to prove in photos!

The author (also a good friend, so she trusts me and pays in advance!) sends me a lump of dollars monthly via Paypal, I subtract from it as I do the work, and we keep a running total of the balance. So, one screenshot shows the money the author paid into my Paypal account. One shows the tracking sheet for the work I do for her and where the money goes. One shows two documents in my folder for her project, the before and after, and another shows a sample of the corrections I inputted.

I've blanked out the author's name for her privacy. I hope this is enough documentation.

would custom spun yarn count as this?
I have a listing in my etsy shop for custom spun yarn.  People choose their colour when they pay and dictate what qualities they want the yarn to have.  I spin the yarn on demand.  I send them the yarn.

It differs from regular selling in that I don't make the product in advance.  It's customized to the customer.

I think you're still "selling goods" so it would fall under that BB.

If people sent you the raw material and you just did the labor to convert it into yarn and sent it back, then I think it might be more labor than goods and would fit here.

I think
