POST 101 (DAY 108, Thursday, 2020.11.26)
[Mid-Day Entry]

slept in today.. til 9am.. it felt really good..
hands and forearms sore from putting up an angle brace yesterday and working with the saw mill lumber.. some stretching should help..
ate some leftover bean soup that Jen made last night.. with some cornbread and rice.. so good..
peeled some garlic, shelled some walnuts, fed the kittens.. a somewhat productive morning..

brk money things:
1) darn tough socks: extra warm, breathable
2) winter boots: slip proof, water proof/resistant, extra warm, breathable .. i've had cold feet before, but this climate is something else~! =D
3) near future: jacket and pants..
cant really think of anything else right now.. Inge is sending me a beanie.. underwear/shirts, sweaters, long sleeves, long johns are stocked..
water, food and shelter are more than enough as they are.. though, i might buy a piece of bacon to share, in celebration, here shortly..
we have much.. i have more than enough.. i honestly feel i could afford to shed some possessions..
maybe theres a list of things i could give away..

POST 102 (DAY 109, Friday, 2020.11.27)
[Morning Entry]

it was nice having a day to do nothing but eat, lounge, and be thankful.. today, its back to work..

WELLNESS ASSESSMENT: knees are feeling weak.. time for knee strengthening exercises.. this morning i did some partial sun salutations.. my theory is that if repetitive motion of the improper form can cause ailment and dysfunction, then repetitive motion of the PROPER FORM can cause healing and strengthening.. why not?

last night i had a dream that i was running.. and running well.. my legs were getting stronger and stronger..
the first run was challenging definitely, but each day (in my dream) was another run, and i vividly remember feeling the power of my stride increase.. power going from my feet through my legs, then my core, then fed back down by the pumping motion of my arms.. i think there was a girl i was trying to impress, but that would just be the byproduct.. my main focus was on running of course.. (heh-hem.. hmm..).. needless to say, i wasn't running fast; just in alignment with my body's form and power..~! =D

excited for today's adventures.. in case i haven't said it already, happy thanksgiving--I'm grateful for you~!

enjoy pics~!

POST 103 (DAY 110, Saturday, 2020.11.28)
[Mid-day Entry]

Clayton is leaving for a few weeks.. it'll be Paul plus 4 boots for a little while.. we will miss Clayton very much..
Past few days, for me have been a bit odd.. thoughts creep in, regarding leaving WL.. I have no intention of leaving this place, as I'm vividly reminded of the lifestyle I left behind, which did not serve me.. alas i sit with these thoughts and watch them pass by, knowing that they are merely thoughts; not my identity, nor my intention.. where would i go anyway?.. and what would i do?.. sometimes the grass seems greener on the other side.. J.B. says its green where you water it--and i agree.. fact is that i dont know everything, and i also dont know of anything out there that would actually compare.. comparison would seem hardly the the method to use at this point, as it has only been 110 days.. my relationship with WL is still brand new.. So, we row on.. row, row, row.. gently.. merrily..

enjoy the pics~!

POST 104 (DAY 111, Sunday, 2020.11.29)
[Morning Entry]   ::: LIFE IS BUT A DREAM :::

a sunny morning after a clear moonlit night.. 19 degrees and frosty.. kittens are hungry this morning.. apollo spent the night with them.. cutest kitties ever..

.. house chores on saturday instead of sunday.. i think i could get used to this.. at first i was strongly opposed to this idea, but now after two weeks of trying it.. im thinking i was probably averse to the change for no particular reason at all.. an open mind is so important to finding whats best.. a closed mind is averse to change.. "i dont want change, but i'll try it" is one of my mottos for situations like this.. "what's a motto with you?" (L.K. the movie).. so yeah, now i'm thinking saturday clean up is actually better than on sunday.. ha!.. (another one is "do the thing you least want to do, and the rest seems easy..")

..josiah made a sugar free pumpkin pie, using sweet potato as the sweetener.. i can't get enough of it.. i'm pretty sure i could eat the whole pie in a day.. walnut & pecan crust toasted to perfection..

enjoy the pics~!
