Dry lavender blossom for a tea, infusion or decoction - PEP BB medicine.sand.drylavender

I need some help with this, please.

Using this video: How to Harvest Lavender, I'm attempting to harvest some of my lavender.
It appears from the video that it's little black seeds that are the harvest.

ETA: Found the seeds.  They're so small and a little labor-intensive to extract.  The videos on YT look like the tincture is made from vodka and the dried flowers.  Anyone have experience with this?  My flowers are dried and not colorful any longer.

My mom's herb book used the whole flower, and I've only ever seen people use the flower. I think you can use the whole flower for this BB. (I mean you could just use the seed, but I don't think that's necessary!)

Maybe the video you watched was focused on harvesting the seeds to plant? (I can't watch it right now, as I'm singing my daughter to sleep right now)

We have a rocky hillside that the lavender (and the basil!) just love.  Pretty sure the plants are Anouk and Provese varieties.  They are bumblebee heaven when they're in bloom.  I took off the buds once the blooms were gone.  They were pretty dry already, but I left them out in a heated room spread out on paper towels on my desk to take out any excess moisture.  I stripped the pods off most of the buds, and harvested the seeds.  They're amazingly small!  I have the perfect "guerilla spot" in mind for them in the spring.  For now, I'm going to try the tea and use a lot of the rest (there are still buds waiting to be harvested) for pot pourri Christmas gifts.

I gathered some un-opened blossoms. We don't have a dehydrator but we use the oven often enough. I let the cuttings pre-dry a little until my wife made some bread. Then  I used the residual heat in the oven to dry these until crispy. Then off to a jar for safe keeping.

Found a patch of lavender in my mom's rock garden at the farm. I've been picking and drying it little by little. Dried to make oils, salves and tinctures.

Mother dearest has a beautiful garden with all kinds of flowers, including a patch of lavender I was quite lucky to be able to harvest from.
Did also grab a few live plants as well as some seeds, both to be planted near the beehives to give my little girls some nice smelling treats.

Hung my bunches in the hallway where I do most of my drying, where I have a fan making a soft breeze to speed the process _slightly_.

I dried some lavender I grew.

I air-dried my lavender flowers by laying them in a single layer under a ceiling fan.
