Would you rather teleport or make animals behave?

I started a thread to get "Would You Rather" style questions to start conversations here -> https://permies.com/t/238000/Permaculture-Edition#2203263 That thread is more for thinking up questions. This thread is for answering them.

So... Would you rather have the ability to teleport anywhere on your property, or have the ability to always make your livestock stay where they are supposed to without fencing?

Do NOT choose teleport. I did, and too late discovered that the fine print says "clothing and contents of digestive tract not included."

Teleporting. I have health issues and walking sometimes hurts bad. I talk to the animals very well as is :D

DC: Clothes I can take or leave, and we could market the digestive tract emptying as a diet and get rich!!

I'm going with make animals behave.  Right now I don't need to worry about this, but I'm thinking in the event I get to join an intentional community and if there are animals there, I want to stay away from them and they stay in their own area and stay away from me, I'm not an animal person, so cudos to those who take care of them, and they'd appreciate me helping literally, from afar.

LOL

I think I would pick the animals behaving myself. I am fat enough that the walking would do me good.

I would pay good money to be able to teleport myself out of a meeting/event/date while leaving my clothing and the contents of my large intestine there. Now that's a political statement!!

Consider that snow I'm dealing with, and no water in the back field due well issues, I'll take the teleporting in a heart beat, so long as I can teleport a bucket of water along with and I'll keep my intestinal contents if it's all the same with you people.

Trick question. Animals already behave - just not necessarily the way we want them to. The real question there, is getting them to behave the way you want, in a given situation.

But, like Pearl, my mobility is an issue, plus our property is truly rough terrain, so I'll teleport - complete with my clothes and innards, please.

Teleporting if it worked off-property, but on property definitely being able to talk to animals! My dog and cats always seem to be trying to tell me something, and it would be nice to be able to tell the chickens to stop kicking their feed tray over

I prefer to magically make animals (that is, other people) behave (that is, not bother me) and that way I can walk as slowly and leisurely as I want, wherever I want. But in reality it is just a fanciful wish, and it’s probably better to embrace frustrating things so as to better understand the world.

Make animals behave would be my answer in most cases.  If I could teleport and take what I wanted with me that would be the exception.

Right now, I would prefer animals knew exactly where they belong and stayed there.
I wouldn't want to give up that forced time-in-between (either tasks or destinations). The time spent going to and from affords too many opportunities for observation and enjoyment of just being for me to think of giving up.
My answer might change in 35 years!
