A couple of years ago I was in bed for a week with fever, etc.  I had no interest in food at all.  When I started to emerge from my misery, all I could imagine eating was a cold McDonalds's hamburger.  I avoid fast-food, so my (adult) son was both delighted and shocked when I asked him to order some via delivery.  When they arrived, I told him to put my 2 burgers in the fridge: I would only be able to eat them cold and directly from the fridge in the morning.
So delicious!  Cold bun, cold meat, cold pickle, and half-smushed in the paper wrapper  Magical and bizarre.
I also love:
cold (meatless) lasagna.
Cold ravioli with little or no sauce, eaten with my hands, the edges nibbled first.

Share with me what foods y'all eat cold instead of hot, hot instead of cold, etc.   I'm so curious!

The only one that comes to mind for me is fresh raw asparagus.  I like it as much or more than cooked.

When I get takeout, I like to get an order of sesame noodles for the next day. Cold sesame goodness.

i will happily eat almost anything cold.
I used to think it was from years of bringing a box lunch to eat at room temp in a cold office, but now realize it's probably from waaaaay before--- as a snarlingly hungry teen, sneaking leftovers early in the morning or late at night was delightful.
just reading above about cold ravioli makes my mouth water.
not like i won't eat hot ravioli with sauce, but dang a cold ravioli is a thing of beauty.
it's hard for me to think of something i'm not okay with eating cold....

Cold pizza and cold fried chicken. I won’t cool them down first but I won’t reheat the leftovers. Cold pizza is definitely a breakfast thing for me.

Macaroni cheese. Actually, I like it hot and cold so make an extra portion so I can have it cold the next day. Mr Ara prefers his hot but eats baked beans straight from the tin. Apparently this dates from scout camp when he was young.
I agree with cold pizza. I used to wonder what my sons' teachers thought when they discovered the boys had been eating pizza for breakfast.

I am pretty much with Tereza.  I will eat just about anything cold.

Some people age like fine wine. I aged like milk … sour and chunky.

Seriously, if you work with young people and they DON'T eat cold pizza you should probably be more suspicious.

I recently put on a professional development weekend for a large number of Very Serious Types (many of us already past 50) and we had pizza one night, with a lot left over.
There was very strong demand to put the leftover on the breakfast buffet the following morning, and you bet we did it! and it all went. No reheating either.

I used to like cold pizza. Now I don't: next day, it goes in the toaster oven wrapped in foil. French fries too absolutely must be reheated--best way is in a skillet over medium heat until the outsides of each fry are sizzling.

What will I eat cold? Indian and Chinese leftovers, jambalaya, sometimes burgers.

I agree with the cold pizza.  Cold steak: not a fan. Now a cold Philly cheese steak, that's some good eating!

I'm like Tereza, too. I'll happily eat most anything cold. My favorite breakfast is last night's leftovers straight from the fridge. The exception is meals high in gelatin or animal fat. I made soup that was high in gelatin, and I couldn't handle the semi-congealed texture when cold.

I remember going to a summer camp in high school. I knew no one and was so nervous. The smells of the cafeteria and the idea of warm food turned my butterfly-filled stomach, and the only thing I could eat was cold salads or fruit. I've been content with cold foods ever since.

(Reminder to myself) God didn't say, "well said, well planned, and well thought out." He said, "well done."

Cold spaghetti with meat sauce on buttered bread.l,liberally salted.
Pure heaven.

Cold pizza is only ok-I generally reheat it in a skillet with some butter, for a crispy,fatty treat.

The "Chicago Deep-dish" chain called  Unos made a spinach and broccoli deep dish pizza that was great hot from the oven,but so much better cold.

Most roasts are delicious,cut thin and salted,but I'm not sure that counts, as it's basically "cold cuts".

Cold spaghetti, no sauce, no cheese. I can't stand the texture of cooked oatmeal, maybe b/c I had so much of it growing up as it was cheap. Now I eat it raw like cold cereal. Add some brown sugar, cinnamon, fruit (dried or fresh), almond milk, and we're off.
 
The longest recorded flight time of a chicken is 13 seconds. But that was done without this tiny ad:
