Cup of tea - PEP BB foraging.sand.tea

So I don't know if this counts as "foraging" I planted this stinging nettle (and a cattail that didn't make it) here about 5 years ago. I got the mother plant from a road ditch but I don't want nettle contaminated by road pollution hence the transplant.

While fishing this week, I found some pineapple weed to make a tea from. Yay! I picked it, made tea and enjoyed it :)

Today was a good day to collect some of the plants I store for making tea, ( this is a lot of rain coming next week, and it's good to have some inside jobs to do) So, I went around and collected some raspberry leaves from this pecky bush, and some rose peddles from this cute little climbing rose that moved into one of my wall of bramble edge pieces. ( This is a place where I decided that it's cooler as a wall of crazy brambles then a corner landscaped area. So, I let the growies choice who gets to live their now)

So, after my short little adventure around, I mixed my raspberry leaves, and rose peddles together. ( the roses smelled good, but I normally don't like single plant tea.)

The list at the beginning of this thread does not include Yaupon Holly. So if you submit a tea made from Yaupon Holly, I doubt it would be approved for this Badge Bit.

I can understand if you are confused because of Paul's earlier post asking for more items for the list, but that does not reflect the current state of the badge bit.

I doubt that Yaupon Holly will grow in Montana:

Ah, I missed the post that mentioned plants foraged must be able to be found in Missoula. This being something you can participate in online, I thought it would be adaptable to different areas...

A morning cup of tea!

Picked raspberry leaves from a wild bramble patch by a gravel road that has very little traffic. Added a few berries for good measure.

The colour differences in the pictures are just due to different angles and the sunlight streaming in.
