Would you rather have a magic chicken who only eats the bugs from your garden or a magic goose that only eats weeds from your garden?

I currently have more trouble with weeds than bugs, so I'll go with the magic goose.

I really like the idea of a magic goose.

I already have a slew of chickens who I spoil, why not change it up a bit?

I'd rather have a magic dragonfly who eats all the mosquitos and deerflies so that I could deal with weeds and garden bugs in peace. :-D

OK, OK, I have to pick one of your options...On the one hand, I don't trust a goose to know what *I* think the weeds are, but on the other hand, magic! This is dumb, but I guess the goose, mostly because it seems more exotic. :)

The answer is clear. Magic Geese also lay golden eggs. Goose it is.

A Magic Goose sounds magical...

Magic Chicken not so much.

I don't have a lot of problems with bugs compared to the amount of weeds so I will go with the Magic Goose.

Chicken please. I have both bugs and weeds, but the weeds are easier to spot!

Magic goose, if you interpret “garden” to include paths and yard. The sandburrs in my yard make going barefoot a painful endeavor. Do these things have any useful application to redeem themselves?

I will take the Magic Chicken. Slugs and snails are a major source of seedling mortality for me, whereas the weeds are also good vegetables.

I wonder. Will the magic chicken also eat rabbits?

Magic goose eating weeds.  Only way this one doesn't work is if the bugs will level the garden and can't be stopped.  Way more weeds.  Still want to try running the  chicken fence clear around the garden so the bugs have to cross the chickens to get to the garden.

Geese are evil and I won't allow them on the property. I'd definitely go with the chicken.

My chickens have killed as many of my plants as any of the bugs. So, if I have to fence in my gardens anyway, I might as well go with John F Deans thought, and stick with the golden egg laying geese!

I'm going with the chicken, they're more predictible and sometimes "weeds" can end up being useful.  My best friend would be really mad if I got a goose haha, they freak her out haha.

Omnivorous chickens make eggs.... weeds make for future chop and drop...
I'd prefer the helpful chicken.

Magic Goose, especially if they ate the skeleton leaf bursage.
