El Curso Maestro de Jardinería por Helen Atthowe”  sounds nice to me :)

It just occurred to me (sadly) what an astronomical amount of translation that is for subtitles, being thirty-some hours.  I wonder how automated the process is when done professionally--the more steps are automated, (transcription, rough translation) the more affordable, I could hope, but I know enough about translation of literature anyhow, to know that ultimately a good translation is checked thoroughly by professionals.  So I'm suspecting it's a very cost prohibitive stretch goal even though I would so love to see it happen.  For a fully bilingual person, a decent thought for thought translation can run off almost as fast as a person can type (but 37 hours' worth of material...? yeah) but then it occurs to me that there will also be a lot of unique terminology that even a highly bilingual person would find themselves needing to research and creatively translate where the terms don't already exist in Spanish.  That would be a lot slower work than translating the lighthearted conversations in a marvel flick.

Maybe down the road the videos can be turned into a (set of) book(s)... and the book(s) translated... we can dream.... meanwhile this fundraiser is absolutely inspiring to watch unfold.

Within hours of my (Early Bird!) Kickstarter pledge, my debit card number was stolen. Credit union has now cancelled debit card. When Kickstarter tries to charge it next month, there will be nothing to charge. What should I do about this?

I think subtitles would be a good idea in Spanish or any language. I would like the option of a checkbox to be able to toggle them on or off. There are times I find subtitles distracting, or worse, hiding some important part of the video image I want to see (especially if there's writing on a whiteboard, or names and titles, or facts and figures that get hidden). If you do choose to use subtitles and can't do the on/off option, please put them below the video image.

Sorry to hear about the theft.  Mine was hacked so I am feeling your pain.
Log into your Kickstarter Account and click on the blue globe.  Click on Settings then click on Payment methods.  Add a new card before you remove the old one otherwise you cannot change the payment.
You will be all set.
Cheers

I think we have a stretch goal for $70,000 lined up.  Not sure we will need it since the kickstarter seems to have stopped.  But it does feel good to be prepared!  Almost ready!

Hi folks. Is this course specific to your regain, climactic conditions and zone in the USA?
I'm in a region within South Africa (Kwazulu Natal) which has a hot, very humid sub-tropical climate, with no winter freeze (our winter would probably be considered a cool summer elsewhere, low 20 C) and summers ranging in the high 20C to mid and high 30C (80-high 90F). If most the concepts are specific to your area, I'd rather not buy it, as it's a lot of money, with our current exchange rate of over R18 to 1 US dollar.

Thanks
Gavin

Gavin, the course talks a lot about cold-climate stuff.  I would think much could be applied across a broader cross-section of climates, but I farm in a climate with snowy winters, so I would prefer to let some others weigh in on your question in more detail.
