currently, donkey is doing a lot for the straw and wood badges.   I think they are about 90% complete.   We hope to update this wiki page in a few days.

I like to think, that in time, the sand badge will fill out with 50 to 80 different small projects, each on a list.

I just saw this today and this has some really good experiences with sand, clay and polishing.  Maybe it would be on a list for the sand badge some day

Could we adjust the sand BB for a 25 sq ft shake roof to not require it to be on a skiddable structure?  I'm thinking the hard part of that BB is putting the shakes on a roof.  Making the roof be on a skiddable structure really limits the possible audience.  For instance, Jordan just posted his cedar shake roof project over Here.  I'd certify it for the BB in a heartbeat if it weren't for the skiddable detail.

Hello,

New here to the permies.com and happy my wife found this, some time next year wife and I will start building our log cabin on our property. It won't be a wofati however would it still count for the natural building badge requirements? Thanks

Sorry, PEP doesn't support much log cabin building.  Luckily the PEM Building badge does support it.  (PEP is Paul's program, PEM is my program)

You bet!  Similar badges, same level of rigor, just aimed at more of an upper midwest / new England type climate and my personal thoughts on what's important for a permaculture homesteader.

I don't have all the badges completed yet (it's a lot of work).  I plan to complete defining the remaining badges this winter.  Here's what is complete so far: PEM badges

We don't have time for this. We've gotta save the moon! Or check this out:
