Here is my submission for the Natural Medicine Aspect - Sand for Straw - Create a Rosemary Infused Vinegar BB.

I harvested Rosemary from my sister's garden and combined it with apple cider vinegar and some heat to create the infusion.

3 ounces of rosemary leaves (no stems)
2 cups Bragg's apple cider vinegar
combine, cover, and heat (just below a simmer) for 15 min

To document the completion of the BB, I have provided the following:
- picture of the rosemary leaf being harvested
- picture of the infused vinegar being made
- picture of the finished vinegar in its labeled jar

I dried the rosemary so I wouldn't have to be concerned about mold if we didn't use the vinegar quickly. I heated the vinegar in the toaster oven, mixed in the crumbled rosemary, and let it infuse overnight.

I love to make a strong tea of sage and rosemary and use it as a hair rinse. It makes my hair so happy! I love it!
Apple cider vinegar is supposed to be excellent for hair health so I thought this was a perfect opportunity to make an infusion with one of my favorite herbs.

I was worried that using heat might kill some of the good stuff in the vinegar so I did a long infusion like I do with oils. Do any of you know if heat does that with vinegar?

Anyway, now I have a really fast, easy, and better way to have my herbal hair rinses. Yay!

I made Rosemary-infused Apple-cider vinegar! I took a large handful of freshly harvested rosemary sprigs, rinsed them, removed the woody bits, and put the clean sprigs in a jar. I brought about a cup of store-bought, unfiltered, organic apple-cider just to a boil, removed from heat for a bit to cool slightly, and poured it into the jar with the herbs. Sealed and shaken daily for three days. Today, I filtered the infused vinegar and bottled it in a clean beer bottle.
