To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are that you must clean four windows, inside and out.

To document this BB, post pictures or a 2-minute video depicting the following:

Before: Four Dirty Windows: I cleaned a bank of 5 windows plus the window in the door that looks out to the porch. I thought there wasn't much point in leaving a dirty window next to a clean one and I was on a roll. That's a total of 6 windows.

Action 1: Your glass cleaner, with a description: For the cleaner, I hosed the outside of the windows down with water. Then I removed the screens and hosed those down as well. The water removed the bulk of the dust/dirt. I made mental note of a few holes in the screens which I'll need to come back and fix before they get any bigger. Then I sprayed down everything with white distilled vinegar in a spray bottle and wiped it with a microfiber cloth. Obviously, I can't hose the windows down from the inside, so I just sprayed them with vinegar and wiped them down.

Action 2: You cleaning windows

After: Four Clean Windows! They aren't as sparkly as I'd like but definitely improved. They're double-paned and the seals are broken. Replacing them is on the to-do list.

I washed some windows and they get really dirty in a week. I used a very fine microfiber rag and plain old water, but I have to rub the glass until there isn't much water visible otherwise it leaves streaks.

Hunting BBs alongside my nesting partner, we split the house in the middle. I am washing top floor windows (I don`t mind ladders), she does ground floor.
First I rubbed warm soapy water on all the dirties with a cloth, then used another, softer cloth to wipe everything dry.
I usually use vinegar and sodium bicarbonate for cleaning, but this box of green (according to the box) detergent has been occupying space in our fridge for years and needs to get used so I can have my fridge space back!

Did a total of six windows, but have only depicted the four where the difference between pre and post cleaning is most visible. I might have confused some of the outside pics.

Hoping this is up to standards!

Here's submission for the BB.Sand.CleanWindows.

Hot wave of temperature this week, so i'll use the opportunity to do some work outsite. The recipe for the cleaner was easy, it that from the start of the thread, just some water and vinegar in a old spray bottle found in the recyclage bin somewhere. I did a hand trace with grease  from my pan to show more clearly that the windows were dirty so we can see a better difference between before-after picture..

Made a homemade window cleaner with 1 cup water, 1 cup rubbing alcohol and 1 tablespoon vinegar. Mixed it inside an old spray bottle. Used a paper towel since I didn't have any newspaper on hand. You truly can't tell much from the photos, but I sprayed and cleaned all the windows inside and out on all my doors! They look much better now (at least in person).
