This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Natural Medicine.

For this BB, you will create an infusion of stinging nettle leaves. Infusion is a method of extracting desired compounds from plant material by steeping the material in hot or cold water, depending on the plant and its attributes.

To show you’ve completed this Badge Bit, you must post:
- a picture of your stinging nettle leaves being harvested
- a picture of the infusion being made
- a picture of the finished infusion

Nettle tops harvested from outside the chicken coop on an organic farm. Brought to boil then left to sit for 1/2 hour. Strained and added a drop of honey. Tastes very green and nutritious.

OMG I cant believe it took me this long to notice this!
