BRK Post 83
The day here started with a thunder storm and on and off rain.
By the time we got to working on the
greenhouse it had cleared up and almost everyone came to help clean up the site and install the glass.
I kept making progress on the facade while everybody else chipped in to grade dirt, pick up
wood scraps, or prep the glass. And Matt filmed everyone and had us explain what we were doing to the camera.
I got done just in time. Then ever so carefully, we cleaned and set the panes in their new home. And we celebrated with homemade lemonade and silly choreographed jumping. All of this was filmed for your future entertainment and ridicule. You are Welcome.
So the
greenhouse is officially a greenhouse.
Now we have to put on all the stuff that goes on after the glass. Flashing, exterior trim, more aluminium rails, more flashing, and the facade cap above the glass.
Josiah and Matt also headed up a massive pizza party operation, I think they ended up making like nine baking sheet sized pizzas.
And I ate about three pieces more than was good for me, a total of eleven I think. I regret nothing.
