I'll say that "you might win" is correct.  We will send a survey out to see who would want the tickets.  Then once we hear back, the 6 highest pledges get the tickets.  So, theoretically someone at $65 could win the tickets.  Someone at $6,000 has a really good chance.

And yes, 6 tickets are available, not 6 per person

About 10 years ago I knew of an older fellow, a widower, who needed help around his place. He found a very ambitious young couple who was struggling to make ends meet, so it ended up with them living rent free in part of the house in exchange for doing everything around the house for him- lawn care, shopping trips, cooking, cleaning, etc. He taught them how to repair things, balance and plan finances, and just a lot of life skills they didn’t have. So in a sense they adopted a grandfather and he got to have help, companionship and feel needed for his knowledge he could share. They enjoyed a few years to build up some savings, and develop the ability to run a household and do repairs and maintenance to a property. I don’t know the eventual outcome when he died, but I do know they had the opportunity to buy the place from him at a crazy low price.
That, to me, is the spirit of this- matching up people who can mutually benefit, and as a side effect, it benefits the planet and society.

I backed at 10 and switched to 15 and it showed correctly...

This is minor in relation to the success this kickstarter is having: when I looked at the book title (without my glasses) I read it as "Skills to inherit prosperity," and I thought, "That's so appropriate, great title!" Maybe "Skills to inherit prosperity" could describe Mollison's Designer's Manual, because clearly the SKIP book has all of the great marketing it needs!

There are some people who are just born salesmen, and useless on a farm if not trained from birth.  There must be others who would make great craftsmen, but have never had anything but Lego to play with.  What I wonder is to what extent innate aptitude will express itself in a barren childhood.  I remember making toys from cardboard, even though I had options.  Should we look for original art?  A book collection?  Small crafts?  Repaired possessions?  Ability to move and open a crate quickly?  Use of math to manage their own affairs?  Is fashion a clue?  
There was a sawmill that would automatically hire anyone who had grown up on a farm, and a credit union that would automatically lend to anyone who had grown up being baby-sat behind a cash register.

Just want to post that I upped my backer level for the awesome stretch goals y’all are adding! And I have never  ever done that before.
Also, I own property, so don’t need this book so much for myself, but I have many children who would prefer to live in a cooler climate as adults and I’m hoping some of them will want to start this as teens. By the time they’re grown, maybe they’ll be on their way to inheriting some land North of here and, even if not, they’ll have learned many great skills.

I thought about it - I certainly do enough of the cooking/cleaning ones regularly, would just need to document.

I think the idea of a specific “summer break project” will appeal to him, though - make it sort of an extended event and help him keep a physical journal on it (woo excuse to keep him practicing his handwriting and work on research skills!) as well as documenting on here.

So, I couldn't resist all those stretch goal goodies! My $10 pledge just became $65!

Yes, I too had to up mine, just too many goodies to pass up.  And the value of the stretch goals is far more than the 40 dollars I went up.  Heck the value of the early bird goodies  would be worth it.  And I just looked it is already up to 43,932 so more stretch goals are on the way.
