I managed to lose a button when carrying a crate full of tools. I raided my partner's impressive stash of buttons, found a close match and sewed it on. The thread, which is linen, is far from a good match but it was the thickest, strongest thread I could find!

Replaced a lost button on this handmedown baby shirt. The thread is cotton and the new button is shell from my stash. It’s not an exact match for the other buttons, but it’s the perfect size. And I say it’s close enough that no one would notice unless I point it out.
For this Badge Bit, you will sew on a button! Preferably, you'll be mending an article of clothing, but that's not essential.
To document your completion of the BB, provide proof of the following as pics or video (less than two minutes):
- your button, thread, and the cloth you will sew the button onto
- the process of sewing on the button
- your button sewn on, both from the front and the back
