BRK #507

Made it back...! It's wonderful to be home again after visiting family and friends, 2500 miles and two time zones away.

I walked back into the house to see that the sweet potato slips are still thriving. We're still keeping them indoors, though we'll be testing the Season Extender tomorrow to see if it's possible to bring them outdoors.

Boot Alumnus Dez gave me a jar of his special sauerkraut. Fantastic colour! Plus, it's delicious (of course).

The cats all seem happy and healthy. Here they are moping around the food dishes about a minute after I'd fed them.

Of course, there's my Number One: Donkey. We totally had cuddle time when I made it back to the tent.

Here are a couple sights from my trip to the east coast. I stayed in Ocean City, Maryland, for a little bit. This place used to be my old stomping grounds and I would take solo trips there a few times a year to unwind.

The weather was mostly rainy, windy, and drizzly the few days I was able to stay. However, I did ride my bicycle or at least walk on the boardwalk each night I was there. Personally speaking, I think the off-season is when that place is the nicest.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading, and enjoy your day...!

Welcome back!

That's a very big dog. I think I want to go home now and hug this tiny ad:
