I hope the rags don't need to be hemmed or sewn the way Nicole did so wonderfully...  We always just cut the shirts into squares and call it good enough.  We had three t-shirts with excessively large holes in them so it was time to make them into rags.

Submission for new rags out of old clothes bb

I had a wonderful thermal but its sweat stained and too tight to wear! Now I have some awesome textured rags!

Sure beats buying them at harbor freight!

The cuffs seem like they will make some good dish scrubbers!

Although I have 'rags' made out of old towels for many years, I made some new rags from a T-shirt to get this BB.

This old T-shirt I 'inherited' is too small. So I use it for making rags.

Zigzagged the rags with the sewing machine. That's the pile of new rags in the foreground.

Here are my photos for your review for the Nest - Jeeves (1) - Sand BB: Make Rags from Old Clothes

Today, my sister decided it was closet cleaning day and I decided to use some of the old clothes to make rags and finish my fabric salvage projects.

I started with two pairs of old pajama pants then also cut up two t-shirts since they were stained.
I also started with a pair of scissors then decided to break out the rotary cutting mat and straight edge.
Most of the rags are 10" x 10" with a smaller stack that are 5" by miscellaneous widths.

Here are my photos:

So I took an old shirt and cut it up into rags!  Go me.  I've used like half of it beyond reuse already.  Almost time to recycle another ugly stained shirt.

These have been languishing on the free shelf, so now they get to become rags

My sons school polo shirts are no good to pass on after a year so I harvest for buttons and rags.  The scraps will go in the fabric recycling bin. Here are my pics:
