Well for your amusement, there is an old pop song thing, ending in:

Amadeus,Aamadeus, oh hoh Aamadeus.

I always thought this could repurposed, for comedy:

Rutabaga, rutabaga, uh huh, rutabaga.

So, is there room for Mozart to get down on the venerable vegetable?

A classic potato ballad from DEVO.

...Nobody around me
Understands my potato.
I guess I'm only a spud-boy
Lookin' for a real tomato.

Had to upvote Jonathan's post, not because of the song or Brak (whatever THAT creepy thing is...) but because ---- SPACE GHOST!!!   Haven't seen him since I was a little kid watching Saturday morning cartoons in suburbia in the '60s.

I’ve never even seen the show, but when I was a kid, my buddy and I would listen to this CD and thought it was hysterical. It’s just a bunch of silly songs 😆

I searched that on youtube (your link went to Amazon) and found the complete album.  Oh no!  My memory of Space Ghost as a more "serious" cartoon is forever sullied, LOL!  If I went back and watched some episodes today though, I'm sure I wouldn't think it was as serious as I did back then... I thought I was so grown up watching that instead of Bugs Bunny or Rocky and Bullwinkle or Popeye or Tom and Jerry!

When I saw this thread I wanted to add something in Dutch too. Because potatoes are a much-grown crop here in the Netherlands. In Dutch 'potato' is 'aardappel' (earth apple).
I searched for songs on youtube. I found out they were all for children. I did not like those 'sung' by groups of noisy children. But this one I did like. It is a school teacher, the song gives some teachings on agriculture and potatoes in a funny way. He speaks and sings Dutch with an fake American accent (maybe because it is 'country' style).

Not a purely potato song, but I believe it still may be appreciated

My Cajun Marine Corps friend would sing "Lache pas la patate" when he got tipsy.  I just remember the "Lache pas la patate mon neg",  Don't let go of the potato my man. As I remember he would use it as a "don't give up" encouragement phrase.
