Hi Dez. Your creeping vine looks a little like Lysimachia nummularia (creeping Jenny). But I don't think it is, because that plants loves wet soil.

The plant beside it, Oregon grape, requires fairly consistent moisture so that is posible. I was thinking knikinik but it looks less robust than that.

I believe if you take care of yourself first with a mind that you are doing so in order to make you more valuable to others then your going to do well, look at how much someone who has handled their financial situation can help people who are less fortunate.

Outside of finances look how much someone who is highly skilled in medicine or healing or building can help because they took the time to skill up.

Money and skiils are no good if not used to help others, but also a person who has no money and skills has less ability and wherewithal to help, even though they have the desire.

So what I do is balance it... help self to help others, anytime there Is a block in the flow of energy in trying to help others, I help self and family. Then I go back to reaching out and helping people where it will do the most good...

....

Hans and Inge—thanks for that info.. I found that vine on fred’s plot so he probably knows.. and that factoid about the consistent moisture is really interesting!

Wez—agreed.. as you can see, I went with a bit of both—some 100% alpaca socks, and shareable vegan ice cream.. I honestly don’t eat much ice cream but I love to sample from time to time!

….some rain yesterday and today.. rain makes me smile.. :)

POST 375 (DAY 385, Sunday, 2021.8.29)
[Morning Entry]

.... went glove researching yesterday.. so many choices.. I narrowed down the whole wall to two kinds.. soft/supple and water resistant are key because my hands are not that strong and I’m often touching wet things.. for the winter, the 3M-th1nsulate seems to be so very nice for my hands.. not purchased yet.. gonna wait until my current ones give up.. I think I go through a pair a month.. any suggestions on making gloves last?
