I think the most common way to upload a video is to put it on YouTube first, then use the Youtube link above a post to embed it.  I've never done it myself....

You can make a youtube account with any google account. I use my husband's (he does hot wheels races on his channel) and choose "unlisted." That means the URL works, but unless people have that direct URL, they can't find your video.

I don't see where this BB was worked on, so I'll throw this out here.
Why is installing or checking a fire extinguisher classified as being as easy as filling  one? I thought "whoa, I thought it was a major thing to fill them!" so I checked the links, oh holy shit, I am not filling things with pressurized nitrogen, that is not an easy or safe task. No wonder I have always taken it to a pro. Hanging it on the wall is easy and safe. The links even say to take it to a professional unless you really know what you are doing. I think this needs re-ranking.

I assume that it means you take the fire extinguisher somewhere to have it recharged.  That way you can get the BB for buying a fire extinguisher, replacing it with a new one, or having it recharged.

At least one of those links tells you how to fill one with chemicals and pressurized nitrogen, and at least one warns you that's not a safe thing to do. I don't recall which ones, I read them a while back, and kept forgetting to comment.

This was not as straightforward as I'd hoped.  First time, I installed the holder upside down.  Reinstalled it right side up, but it was not as secure as I wanted because I stupidly used the same holes.  Moved it over toward the main stud, but forgot to move the camera -- that's why everything is way left.  The last part is the frustrating 10 minutes to try to get the clip secured.  Turns out, the holder was for the upstairs extinguisher which is maybe a few millimeters smaller in diameter, so I swapped that one (it's loose under the kitchen sink and doesn't need a holder).  Photo is the correct extinguisher secured against its new home in the laundry room.

Here is my submission for the Homesteading - Sand for Straw Points (duplicate) - Install a Fire Extinguisher BB.

After replacing the fire extinguisher at my sister's, I decided Windward needed a few more.  One for my house and one for the garage.  The fire extinguisher for the garage is mounted on the inside side of a 6"x6" post so it is visible as you exit the workbench area or the work bay area of the two-story structure we call the garage.  This placement is visible as a person moves away from the likeliest source of fire (angle grinding at the workbench).

To document the completion of the BB, I have provided:

I'm mounting this fire extinguisher in the pantry in our kitchen.  It's up high enough that my kids won't be able to get it for now, but should be able to when they're smart enough to be able to use it in case of an emergency.

When we moved in there was a spare fire hydrant in a basement cupboard. Today I installed in the garage where I use power-tools and near to where I BBQ.

I put it on a wooden column where it is visible and easily accessible. There is one wire running up the column above the mounting point.

We were deep-frying a week ago and some oil was dribbling out of the fry-pot and down the side toward the flame underneath and we were sort of worried about an oil-fire, so we decided to get a fire-extinguisher which we'd been meaning to do anyway. It turns out my wife bought the same one-use kitchen extinguisher that R Parian did up-thread a ways. And after we talked about all the places we might put it, we settled on a window-frame.

Little Explanation
It is almost October, and that is Fire Safety Month! What better way to honor the month than with the installation of both a class ABC fire extinguisher and a class K fire extinguisher. I have been meaning to purchase some kind of fire suppression equipment seven years ago when I took over this household but never pulled the trigger. It can be quite the expense but I was lucky to get a deal for both.  The class K was placed across the kitchen to the left of the entrance of our bathroom. The ABC was placed in the entrance to a doorway to access the basement. It is central to the house and up high enough to keep from tiny hands. The same day I did this, I installed another 10 year fire alarm at the top of those basement steps behind the door in case anything goes wrong with our fuel oil boiler. Can never be too safe.

We have always kept our fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink. I mounted it in the "mud room" which is in between the kitchen and garage. After i was done I told hubs and he was impressed with the location 🙃

This is my main fireplace. We've had a fire extinguisher rattling around the room, never in the same place. It's now expired and leaking white powder stuff. Time for a new one! One that doesn't rattle around, but gets installed so everyone knows where it is in case of a fire.

So, the fire extinguisher which came with the house was missing the safety pull pin, much to my chagrin and embarrassment when I bumped it and the powder momentarily exploded in my garage.

While only a tiny bit came out, the needle now reads “recharge” - and since I couldn’t find a date, I decided to replace instead.
