Apparently Kickstarter auto-updates the amount, as I watched the number went to $144,140 and 2538 backers and then within a few minutes $144,315 and 2541 backers!

When it comes to event tickets, you stand a very good chance at winning one at the $65+ level. I'm at the goofball level, but I already purchased tickets for the PDC and PTJ, can't take another 2 weeks off for the SKIP event that follows those 2, and the RMH Jamboree would require I fly and board my dog which combined will be a pretty penny. Next year I plan to be living on the lab though, so it'll be a bit easier!

I had to refresh the forums after waiting a bit too and it worked.

Paul, I saw the web site update to 144,615 and then refreshed this page, and your banner also updated to 144,615.

I think it updates with the page refresh.

Less than $300 to the next stretch goal!

I wonder what kept you awake last night...wouldn't happen to be this exciting kickstarter?

Just put "Final Countdown" on loop, and it might just wake you up!

$145,000 means everyone at $65 level gets

And the next stretch goal--if I've got it right--is a live webinar with the SKIP team!

I jus upped mine because I want to support Permies.com and all the greatness that comes from, to, and through it. Even if I cant go to any events and/or decide against having my likeness in the book. I still think it would be neat to be offered any one of those prizes. I'm glad we get all the podcasts to listen to. So very neat. 51 minutes left. Spread the word as fast as you can.
I started singing it's the final countdown 2 days ago when checking the site. I love the idea of combining it with Dont stop believin...
While we are rocking out to 80s music... how about we throw in Heaven is a Place on Earth for another song to remind us the beauty and awe and the responsibility we have to take care of our Earth...

There's a fairly good chance that Mike's movies are the next stretch goal after this one.

Woohoo!!!  What a cool burst of excitement in the final stretch. I’ll be contributing to the strain on the Permies server for the podcast gob! This has been amazing to watch.

I’m looking forward to seeing what new and crazy cool ideas will come out of Wheaton labs with this funding. I’m sure they will keep me up at night, pondering how I can do them too when I have a place. (Maybe SKIP helps with that too, right?!?!  Yahoo!

Exciting to see $146,248.  Helping to reach the $150K mark!
I've been trying to update my credit card info all morning.  Two different devices and three credit cards later and I finally increased my pledge.
Whew!

Details are a bit loose at this point but I suspect a healthy number of SKIP team members will be there, limited primarily by their schedules and willingness to be on zoom.  I suspect we'll talk about SKIP  Not sure if it will be primarily Q&A or a panel discussion of Skippyness or something else.
