Okay, I just gave in and boosted to $65.  There's just too much candy that I don't already have. I totally want those tickets, too.

You can have my spot Creighton if I am so lucky to get pulled out.  My wish is to have a Jamboree at Kate Downham's in Tasmania for us southies.  Beautiful part of the world and want to learn more about off-grid cooking than there is in her book.
This is such a fabulous Kickstarter.  Like you, really want to get my hands on the candy to learn more.  You should see the bruises on my chin from being gobsmacked

Here's a thought for those of you angling to get event tickets.

They are worth thousands of dollars.

There were only six $1000 backer level spots and they are all gone.  Those particular 6 people can't possibly claim all the tickets so there will be a healthy number still available.  The more money you put in, the higher on the list you get.

Regardless of your backer level, you can add to your pledge to go up to (or past) $1000.

Even if you're sitting pretty at $300, $100 or $65, you might want to add $27 or $52 or some other little bit to "outbid" the other folks at the same backer level.

Sneaking ahead of the pack a little bit might also get you into the illustrations as well.

Flipbook stretch goal met! Very excited to see what skip skill/activity the backers choose to portray for us to animate. And in case anyone is wondering how the animation process goes here is a very short mockumentary that summarizes how it all works :)

I'm hoping for a much better future than that, and I think permaculture (and SKIP) can really help us get there!

Right now, we have 2448 backers. I'd love so much if we got to 2525, and if someone got a screenshot of it!

We've made it to 2,523 backers! I really hope I can get the screenshot!

And, WOW, a lot happened in the 8 hours while I was sleeping!

Here are some of the stretch goals that we have super close to hammering out.  I would like to get feedback from folks on which would be the best:

live webinar with the SKIP team
3 movies from mike oehler (six hours of video of him teaching a workshop)
3 tickets for 3 nights for up to two people in the tipi in winter
6 backers get their likeness on the cover
live webinar with paul (one of my canned presentations)
live webinar with alan booker
3 people get a one hour zoom consultation with paul

I prefer something everyone gets, not just a few. If you have 2500 plus backers and only 6 people will get something, what is the incentive?

a.  people will adjust their pledge to improve their odds.  A person with a $66 pledge is about ten times more likely to get a ticket

b.  only about one person in ten even wants to go.  Or can work it out.  So the people getting the tickets will be at a lower backer level

c.   i like the idea of offering tickets, but I don't think i could possibly offer more than six.

I think there is only a 2% chance we will hit 150k.

I think there is just a slightly better than 50/50 chance we will hit 145k.

OK, I still don't have this quote thing figured out yet

They made my point:   if most people can't/don't want to go how is it an incentive for them?

If we get to the "6 backers get their likeness on the cover", would that mean that 31 different people would get their likenesses in the book?  6 on cover, 5 in flip form, 20 in illustrations?

The 30th person down the list is very likely at the Jumbo level ($100).....

If most people don't want a bunch of my podcasts, how is that an incentive?

If most people don't want a sepp holzer movie, how is that an incentive?

If we offer 25 things, some people will want all 25 and some will want just 3.

Plus, 40,000 people have been made aware of the kickstarter and only 2500 are backing - so I guess our incentives were not rich enough.
