It looks like we have a few dozen more natural medicine BBs to write up and post.  Any takers?  There are also some different style BBs to do in the Straw and Wood levels...

Getting all those made would be very helpful since we'd like to have working links to every BB by the time we have the ebook ready to distribute for the kickstarter.  Thanks!

We also have some Textiles BBs that are looking for write-ups.  I think Opalyn is working on them but possibly wouldn't mind some help.

Great job Kevin!
I've linked them to NM Badge page and designated them as BB threads.

I created a couple more for natural medicine, and linked them. They still need to be turned into BB threads:

If anyone has been seeing all the new BBs getting created and is saying to themselves "That looks like fun, can I do some?", the answer is Yes!

I think we're on track to get the PEP badge BBs all created (some nervousness around Wood level Nat Medicine).  But there are a bunch of PEA Sand badge BBs to be created.

These are sometimes fairly similar to PEP BBs that already exist.  They just don't require you to leave your apartment so sometimes the requirements and wording is a bit different.

If you'd like to give it a shot, please do so.  Pick one (or stake a claim here to a whole PEA badge) and make one.  Post a link here and we'll review it and make adjustments.  Once you have a couple under your belt, they go really fast.

Here's a link to a listing of the PEA badges .  It's not up to date, all the badges in the top two sections are live and ready for BB creation.

We're in a bit of a hurry to get these done so please don't be shy   Thank you!

The last couple of days I've noticed a few BB threads that don't show up with the green BB icon, one that showed up as not a wiki. I only went back 4 pages on the recent posts list.

Maybe it's a glitch? Maybe not formatted quite right? Thought ya'll needed to know. Ya'll are jammin on the BB stuff. Good work! Have a good day!

Thanks for report these and posting them here.  Feel free to post any others you find that don't look right.  It is not a glitch.  It looks like I missed a step in the BB creation process.

I think that's a button that only staff can select.  So when other folks make BBs, we need to go through and click the buttons to do that bit.  Thanks!

I’m happy to lay claim to the PEA food prep and preservation tasks. I live in a house with a small garden, so I’m thinking, if I can do it without the use of the garden then it should be ok. I’m pretty sure I could also create a Straw badge - dry curing, wet curing, brewing, cheese making, koji . . .

You betcha!  We have a bunch of BBs that need to be edited a little bit.  They should all be wikis so I think you could do it as a pollinator.  Thanks!!!

It's in Natural Medicine.  All the BBs for Straw and Wood need to have a couple little changes.  I did it for the Urinary Tract Infection one already.

Where they say:

  - Describe the issue your friend is struggling with
      - Symptoms
      - Duration
      - Severity
      - Medical diagnosis

and

 - Picture of you with friend on the first meeting
 - Picture of you with friend (giving a thumbs up) on your last meeting.

They should have a "(if any)" in there:

  - Describe the issue your friend is struggling with
      - Symptoms
      - Duration
      - Severity
      - Medical diagnosis (if any)

and a couple of "your"s in here and the period at the end removed:

 - Picture of you with your friend on the first meeting
 - Picture of you with your friend (giving a thumbs up) on your last meeting

Straw badges done except Acne - no edit button.
I don't appear to be able to edit any wood badges - tried the first half dozen.

I guess the Wood ones were set up in  way that staff powers are needed to edit them.  Drat...

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for offering to help.  I think most of the BB pages have been created and occasionally a team will form up to polish the BBs.  I know that  Straw, Wood, and Iron Textile BBs still need some polish but we try to do that as a team.  Have you thought about which BB will be your first?

Here are two different lists for inspiration:

I've posted my first one today, although it's just the first part. Now I need to wait for the second part to happen..
Thanks for the suggestions, it's probably better to start with something easier and with quick results!

It still feels great to make something and share it though:

There's a whole new wave of PEP features on the forums now!

Can we get some help testing some of these features?

-Automate BB5, BB10, BB15, etc.
Does this work?  Are these designations being given automatically now?
-merit badges show up on mobile view signature
Can some folks check it out on mobile?
-Fix bug where the mobile BB pages showed errors
Are the BB pages looking good on mobile now?  Any weirdness still showing up?
-BB leaderboard (https://permies.com/forums/meritBB/leaderboard)
Check it out!  Still working out the kinks.  Fun!  How does it look?  How does it look on mobile??

The merit badges are now showing up on my mobile view.  BB Leaderboard is looking good.  Both awesome additions!

It doesn't look like I can approve BBs yet in mobile view.

I'm thinking the automatic BB60 badge isn't working given this entry on the leaderboard.

I love the BB badges showing at the signature line in mobile view! The leaderboard looks a bit wonky on my Android phone.

Same for me regarding the leaderboard not fitting in mobile view.  Maybe it should default to the compressed view like in the signature?

Two more feedbacks related to the leaderboard:

1. I was trying to figure out why it was reporting a higher count for me than I was expecting.  The reason appears to be that it counts both BB's + Badges.  Is that expected or is it intended to just count BB's?
2. Should a link to it be added to the leaderboards page?

I spent some time this evening trying to figure out why Permies thinks I have one fewer bb than my spreadsheet is telling me I have.

EDIT: I think this is a bug in my spreadsheet in the Foraging Sand Badge Dry List duplicates row.
